Why is it that no one makes a stink about the fact that the Colts had a black coach in waiting after T.Dungy retires and the sky fell whin Holmgrem had a white coach already named. Seems to me, that same should apply in both instances.

ReplyDeleteIts due to the NFL's diversity policy, it mandates that a team seriously considers Minority candidates before you fill any coaching vacancy. The colts are obviously following the policy, since they did hire a minority candidate, whereas the Seahawks appear to be violating this policy, that is why they get the stink. Does that make sense?
